We get things wrong sometimes. When we do, we own it, we fix it, and we tell you what changed. We do not quietly delete or rewrite the record and pretend it never happened.
Asking for a correction
If you believe something we have published is inaccurate, email corrections@onenews.com.au Tell us the article, the specific claim you think is wrong, and where possible point us to the correct information or a source. The more specific you are, the faster we can check it.
We review every correction request. If we got it wrong, we will fix the article and add a note explaining what was changed and when. If we are satisfied the reporting was accurate, we will tell you that too, and why.
Making a complaint
If your concern goes beyond a factual error, for example fairness, balance, or the way something was reported, email editor@onenews.com.au Set out what you are concerned about and what you would like us to do. We read every complaint and we will respond.
How we handle it
We aim to acknowledge correction requests and complaints promptly and to resolve them as quickly as we reasonably can. Serious matters may take longer, because we would rather get the answer right than get it fast.
Our standards
Our full approach to accuracy, sourcing, fairness and independence is set out in our Editorial Standards.
