We started One News Australia for a simple reason. Somewhere around 2013 it started to feel like common sense went missing from a lot of public life, and a lot of the reporting meant to hold power to account quietly stopped doing it. We report from the centre right, we say so plainly, and we would rather you know where we stand than pretend we stand nowhere.
That does not mean we make things up. It means the opposite. We report what is on the record, what can be verified, and what courts and documents actually say. We ask the questions other outlets find inconvenient, and we show our work.
